Bergen is located at the foot of the landscaped area of the“Seven”mountains, the view of the city from the top of Mount Fløyen is one of the most striking excursions; thanks to the Fløibanen, the funicular Bergen, in just seven minutes you will be at 320 meters above sea level. The city of Bergen is there at your feet with its orange roofs, colourful houses and unspoilt nature that surrounds it like a hug.

The Fisketorget, the characteristic fish market, has a history of almost 700 years, founded in 1276, the market is located in Torget Square, in the district of Vagen, near the sea inside it there are many counters for the sale of fish and some restaurants where you can eat fresh fish freshly caught such as whale, smoked salmon, squids, fish and chips, fish pies, baguettes with shrimp, seafood salad, local caviar and also something different from fish, such as reindeer meat and elk.

Bryggen is the charming medieval district of the city of Bergen, since 1979 included by UNESCO among the world heritage sites. A long line of colourful wooden houses with sloping roof overlooking the sea, arranged in a row along the pier of what was once the old port of Bergen.

Not far from the Bryggen district, you can visit the fortress of Bergen. It is actually a collection of medieval buildings, consisting of the Royal Castle, the Håkonshallen and the Rosenkrantz Tower.
