The North Cape Museum covers the fishing and coastal culture. The exhibits show how fishing, whaling and exploitation of seabirds have been the lifelong basis of the Finnmark coast over the years.

The Honningsvåg Kirke is a neo-Gothic building, consecrated in 1885. This church is particularly dear to the inhabitants of the island as it is one of the few buildings that survived the Nazi fury and that the locals found intact at the end of the conflict.

The ornithological safari is an unforgettable experience, you can observe up close the hectic bird life on the rocky islets of Gjesværstappan. The tour starts from Gjesvær and continues between the islands of the nature reserve about 15 km west of the Cape North promontory, from the boat you can see the largest puffin colony in Finnmark at close range. You will also see many aurochs, sea eagles, sea magpies, tridactyl seagulls and gannets. At the end the boat heads towards the fish banks.

GLOBO is an iron sculpture erected in 1977, representing a gigantic globe; it is considered the symbol of Cape Nord. The square on which the Globe is located, which overlooks a cliff more than 600 meters, overlooking the sea, offers the view a breath-taking and suggestive.

Children in the world is the name of a monument made in 1989 that symbolizes friendship and cooperation; it consists of seven stone medallions with drawings made by seven children of different nationalities. This monument is also known as the “Son of the Earth”.

Mother and child is a bronze sculpture depicting a woman with a child, presumably the child located in front of the monument “Children of the world”, the boy indicates with the index finger of his left hand just the monument “Children of the world”.
